First Prenatal Dr visit

So, today was my first Dr appointment and YAY IT IS OFFICIAL OFFICIAL!!! I'M PREGNANT! I don't know what my problem is. I have taken 3 home pregnancy tests and they were all positive and then today I was freaking out thinking I was going to get to my appointment and they were gonna be like you crackhead get out of here cause you're not pregnant. So, anyway...yah now I feel like it is more official. So, my Dr is David Janeway and he is in Arlington. I really like him. I was getting good vibes from him the whole time. I am soooo excited to have a baby!!! I feel like it is more real now. Anyway...the Dr couldn't give me a for sure due date...so anyway I have another appointment in 2 weeks and he's going to try to listen to the heartbeat. He tried to hear it today and couldn't get it so he thinks I am like 9 weeks along...I think I'm more like 8 weeks along...who knows. But anyway I am so eggcited!!!

Finding out

So, about two weeks ago I called in sick to work because I felt like crap. The more I thought about it the more I wondered if I might be pregnant. Well, I had a left over pregnancy test (don't we all?) so I decided to take it. Well, I could BARELY see the second line so I called my Mom. My Mom didn't answer so then I called my sister, Januari. I explained to her the situation and then all of a sudden on the other end of the line all I hear is "MOM!!! ALLISON'S PREGNANT!!!". I was just like easy...calm down. I didn't believe it and still didn't even after Kenny brought home a hi tech digital test and that said "pregnant" clear as day. It took about 2 days for me to actually start believing that I might be pregnant. So, yah...I'm pregnant and I THINK I am due April 27th. My first dr appointment is September 11th so I will find out for sure then. WOOHOO! Kenny and I are both so excited.
