Christmas Eve

I am sitting at home waiting for Kenny to come home! I haven't seen him in two weeks...not since the day we found out we are having a girl actually. So, it's been just over two weeks. He is on his way from Moses Lake. I guess he left around 1:00 and he just called me and said he was almost to Issaquah. So, he'll probably be here in just over an hour! I guess the pass was pretty slick and he ended up not having to chain up so that is good, otherwise it would have taken even longer. I just hope he makes it the rest of the way here safe and sound! I have missed him so much. I don't have many friends and the roads have been so bad that I haven't gone anywhere except maybe Safeway for the last week and a half. I am ready for some company! Kenny's parents invited me over last weekend. So, they picked me up Saturday morning and brought me home that evening. It was nice to have something to do, but also made me miss Kenny even more. I am so ready to move and be close to my husband. Being pregnant is hard enough...especially without a man around. I am kind of bummed that I won't be making it home for Christmas. This will be the first Christmas without my family but hopefully there will be many to come to spend with them if we'll be living over there. I miss my family a lot! We are planning to go to Kenny's parents' house tomorrow for most of the day and just hang out. There was supposed to be a big get together but the weather kind of ruined that. His Grandma and Aunt and Uncle can't even get out of their town because the roads are just too bad. Sad day. Kenny's sister's boyfriend, Josh is moving here the day after Christmas. I think he lives in North Carolina. They met in Seattle at an Anime convention about a year ago I think and have been visiting eachother but, he has decided to move here. I haven't met him yet, so I am really excited to meet him. Sorry no pics...maybe soon...

It's a GIRL!

Well, this morning was our ultrasound and as you can see from the name of the post it is a girl! I had sort of wanted a boy...but the more I think about it the more I'm glad it's a girl. Kenny was able to be there and that was really good. It would have really sucked to be there all by myself. Kenny was a lot happier than I had expected when she told us it was a girl. He brought up the fact that all the cousins on his side of the family are all boys and then on my side they are all boys too except Juliane who had mentioned she wanted me to have a girl. :) She was tired of all boys too. So, I'm sure she will be overjoyed to know it's a girl! Kenny and I do have a name picked out but not a middle name so I will wait to announce. We just finally agreed on a name on Saturday night. Actually, we came up with one boy and one girl name that we both agreed on. That hasn't happened the whole pregnancy. Either he hates a name and I love it or vice versa. So, it was exciting to agree on a couple names.
The ultrasound was amazing! She was squirming all over the place. The lady doing the ultrasound couldn't get any good pictures because baby kept moving around. I saw the legs moving all over the place and then she got a picture of the little feet. It was sooo awesome! I've never seen anything so cool. I just couldn't believe how much she was moving around. I really haven't felt any movement and so it was cool to see it! I have felt feelings of pressure...but nothing actually moving around. So, anyway...it is all becoming much more real! I am getting more excited everytime I think about it!

Interview

I signed up with an employment agency in Moses Lake called Express. I got a call last week about a job and they wanted to know if I was interested. I didn't know at first because there is a base pay and then bonuses and commission depending on how well you do. But, I am really anxious to get to ML so I said sure why not. Well, I started reading online about the job. It's a bill collecting job with Express Bonded Collectors. The company started in 1954 and is family owned. I would get benefits upon hire which is really important when I am going to have a baby in a few months. So, I was searching online about bill collecting and it kind of sounds like fun. Maybe not actual fun...but a new and exciting challenge. A good change from banking which I am completely done with. It is just too much stress for not good enough pay...so, anyway I got a call from Express and they told me that the company wanted to interview me! So, I have an interview this Friday. I really hope I get this job. I am so tired of living alone, away from my husband. I have been extremely emotional the last week or so and I think life would just be a little easier if I had Kenny around to help me get through this time. Wish me luck!
