BLAH

Gosh, I am feelin chubby. I am so excited to be pregnant and I have been lucky so far to not have it so bad. My chubbiness is all my fault. It just sucks...cause I don't want to gain too much weight but at the same time I want to enjoy the freedom from Weight Watchers. I will gain soon after I give birth. At least, that is the plan. I am frustrated with myself. I have already gained about 10 pounds...which is like 3 pounds more than normal. Plus my Dr. said I could stand to gain about 5-10 through the whole pregnancy. So, I guess I won't be gaining any more weight for the next 6 months. PSYCH! I'll probably end up gaining 150 pounds. :) Anyway, I just got done eating out at a Greek restaurant so I feel especially fat. That is what blogs are for right? To EGGspress yourself. So there ya go.

Heartbeat

September 25 was my second prenatal appointment. Dr. Janeway tried to hear the heartbeat but couldn't. He had warned me that it might be too early to hear it and if he didn't hear it he would then do an ultrasound. So, when he couldn't find it after a couple minutes he acted like it was no big deal and was just like well, geez, you don't want me to hear the heartbeat anyway cause then you get to SEE the heartbeat. Inside I didn't know what to think or feel. I was excited to do an ultrasound but terrified that he still wouldn't find the heartbeat. Well, so we had to wait for the Dr. while he helped two more people and then we went across the street to the hospital with him and he showed us the birthing center in the hospital. That was cool...then we did an ultrasound. My heart was beating so fast, I was so scared there was something wrong with baby. :( But all of a sudden doctor points and says "there is your baby's heartbeat". I couldn't see a darn thing. I was thinking he was crazy. He zoomed in a couple times and finally I saw it. I think my heart skipped like 10 beats cause I was just in shock. My baby had a heartbeat!!! It was soo exciting! Doctor was smiling from ear to ear and said congratulations, that is your baby and it is perfect. I was soo happy and so relieved! YAY Doctor measured baby on the ultrasound and said he is pretty positive that the date I thought to be my due date was correct. So, for now we are going with April 26th! So, that is the day after Kenny's and my 4th anniversary! CRAZY!
