It's a GIRL!

Well, this morning was our ultrasound and as you can see from the name of the post it is a girl! I had sort of wanted a boy...but the more I think about it the more I'm glad it's a girl. Kenny was able to be there and that was really good. It would have really sucked to be there all by myself. Kenny was a lot happier than I had expected when she told us it was a girl. He brought up the fact that all the cousins on his side of the family are all boys and then on my side they are all boys too except Juliane who had mentioned she wanted me to have a girl. :) She was tired of all boys too. So, I'm sure she will be overjoyed to know it's a girl! Kenny and I do have a name picked out but not a middle name so I will wait to announce. We just finally agreed on a name on Saturday night. Actually, we came up with one boy and one girl name that we both agreed on. That hasn't happened the whole pregnancy. Either he hates a name and I love it or vice versa. So, it was exciting to agree on a couple names.
The ultrasound was amazing! She was squirming all over the place. The lady doing the ultrasound couldn't get any good pictures because baby kept moving around. I saw the legs moving all over the place and then she got a picture of the little feet. It was sooo awesome! I've never seen anything so cool. I just couldn't believe how much she was moving around. I really haven't felt any movement and so it was cool to see it! I have felt feelings of pressure...but nothing actually moving around. So, anyway...it is all becoming much more real! I am getting more excited everytime I think about it!

Allison.. I'm so excited for you! The ultrasounds are so amazing. I love them. It finally makes it so much more real being able to see them.. when they're big and don't just look like a little bean with a heart beat! Girls are so much fun. You will have a blast. Yes.. they are more drama.. but.. you get to do bows.. and cute dresses and fun girly stuff. Congrats!

I wanted a boy but when I got Jayni I was thrilled. I relate to her more and girl clothes and toys are so much better than boy things. It really is fun to shop for girl stuff. I'm very happy for you! Congratulations my friend.

Andrea came over to visit yesterday and told me you had a blog. Way to keep it all to yourself. I've already bought an outfit! It's the girliest pink one I could find. I'm so glad you're having a girl I can shop for!
